1. How to move a deposition to another case faster.
You are in the situation where, the deposition is already imported into Depo©. You can see it in the left panel, but it is positioned under the wrong Case in the tree. It is easy to move a deposition from a case to another. Click on the Deposition icon you which to move in order to select it. Then Drag the deposition to the case you which to move and drop it there.

You can test this operation without risk, and move your deposition back to its previous place.

How to Drag and Drop?

Press and hold the mouse button on the Deposition you which to move, move the mouse cursor to the Case icon where you want to move your Deposition, and then release the button.

2. How to move a case to another type of case faster.
You can see the Case in the tree, but it appears under the wrong Type of Case. It is easy to move a Case from a Type Of Case to another. It doesn't matter if the case contains Depositions or not, if you move the Case, underneath Depositions will follow.

Click on the Case icon you which to move in order to select it. Then Drag the Case to the Type Of Case you which to move and drop it there.

You can test this operation without risk, and move your Case back to its previous place.

Press and hold the mouse button on the Case you which to move, move the mouse cursor to the Type Of Case icon where you want to move your Case, and then release the button.

3. How to use the tree efficiently.
The tree is located in the left panel of Depo© window. It organizes Depositions among Cases and Cases among Type Of Cases (1).

It is possible to manage this using the menu, but the most efficient way to work with the tree is to combine right click operation and drag and drops.

Right clicking on an element of the tree view open a context box that shows all possible operation related to the selected object.

Right click a Deposition opens a context box allowing you to delete, rename, move... this deposition (2).

Right click a Case opens a different context box containing other operation specific to Cases. Same for Type of Case objects (3).

4. How to resize and move Depo© window.
When the Depo© window opens first time, it fills the whole screen. Depo© is then in its Maximized position.

You can reduce it by clicking on the button in the upper right corner of the screen, just to the left of the X in the red rectangle. This button switches the Depo© window from reduced to maximized position by clicking again on the same button.

In the reduced position, it is possible to resize your Depo© window and move it.

Resize it, move the mouse to a corner of the Depo© window. When the mouse cursor becomes a double arrow, press and hold mouse button, move the mouse to the desired new size, and then release the button.

Press and hold the mouse button in the middle of the title bar, move the window to where you want, and then release the button to save your new position.
